Along with the benefits of ECash for clients, TeamCard can merge an ECash system
with the loyalty currency, providing a value-add to the cardholder. 

 

The advantages of an ECash solution include:

 

  • Faster service time when processing purchases. 

  • No cash handling costs.

  • Reduction in loss due to human error. 

  • Increased sales processed in a limited time and potential requirement for fewer staff.

  • Forward treasury for operators on the unspent value held on cards. 

 

 

TeamCard offers two simple ECash implementation options:

ECash

  • Option 1     The provision of an API to an EPOS supplier, linking a card to a member and enabling that card to be used as the unique identifier for a 'local account' method of payment, managed and accounted within the EPOS system. 

 

  • Option 2     Enablement can be provided for the purchase of TeamCard points which, along with any previously earned points, can be used as a method of payment for goods in the concourse and shops. This option, however, is dependent upon the EPOS supplier possessing the required hardware and/or connectivity and having implemented an appropriate API. The client would also be required to draft clear guidelines for both the members and staff on the use of the ECash system.

 

We are happy to work with other payment providers to enable remote and web-based loading, as well as working with catering suppliers to deliver a joined up approach to the solution as the client wishes.
